What’s the difference between the Matrice 30 and Matrice 30T?

The Matrice 30 series comes in two versions:

  • M30: Equipped with a gimbal and three sensors: a wide-angle camera, a zoom camera, and a laser range finder.
  • M30T: Includes all the features of the M30 but adds a thermal imaging camera, making it ideal for operations requiring heat detection, such as search and rescue or industrial inspections.
Can the camera of the M30 Series be replaced with other payloads?

The gimbal and camera are fixed and cannot be replaced.

Does the M30 Series support SDK function?

Yes, M30 and M30T support Payload SDK and Mobile SDK. The Payload SDK interface on top of M30 series aircraft integrates the functions of Onboard SDK.

Does the M30 Series support accurate mapping?

No, the M30 Series is not designed for aerial surveying. Users can create a flight path and take photos using the aerial FPV mode in the DJI Pilot 2 App; however, the model’s accuracy is not assured.

Is the M30 Series supported by the D-RTK 2 Mobile Station?

Yes. To use it with the M30 Series, update the D-RTK 2 Mobile Station to the latest firmware version.

Does the M30 Series support dual control?
