DJI Zenmuse H30T: Multi-sensor thermal intelligence for mission-critical operations
The DJI Zenmuse H30T is a multi-sensor enterprise payload engineered for aerial missions that require precise visual detail, thermal measurement, and long-range targeting.
Designed for public safety, utilities, and industrial inspection teams, it combines key tools in one stable platform. It includes a 40 MP zoom camera and a 48 MP wide-angle camera. It also includes a 1280 × 1024 infrared thermal sensor. It has a laser rangefinder and an NIR auxiliary light.
Compatible with Matrice 300 RTK, Matrice 350 RTK, and Matrice 400 RTK aircraft, the H30T delivers reliable performance across harsh environments.
Sensor and imaging system overview
- 40 MP zoom camera: supports 34× optical and up to 400× digital zoom.
- 48 MP wide-angle camera: captures 24 mm equivalent imagery with 82.1° DFOV.
- 1280 × 1024 thermal sensor: enables detailed infrared observation and analysis.
- Laser rangefinder: measures targets from 9.8–9842 ft (3–3000 m).
- Thermal sensitivity: ≤50 mK NETD supports detection of subtle temperature differences.
- IP54-rated enclosure: resists dust and water exposure in field operations.
- Wide operating range: functions from -4 to 122 °F (-20 to 50 °C).
Built for reliable data capture in demanding environments
The Zenmuse H30T is engineered to maintain image clarity and measurement consistency in challenging conditions. Its 3-axis gimbal stabilizes imagery to ±0.002° during hover and ±0.004° in flight, supporting precise inspections.
The zoom camera’s 7.1–172 mm focal range (33.4–809.3 mm equivalent) enables safe stand-off observation, while the thermal camera’s multiple gain modes support accurate temperature measurement from -4 to 1112 °F (-20 to 600 °C), or up to 2912 °F (1600 °C) with an infrared density filter.
Field performance for inspection and response missions
In real-world deployments, the Zenmuse H30T delivers actionable intelligence without requiring close proximity to hazards. The laser rangefinder provides distance accuracy of ±1.0 m beyond 1640 ft (500 m), supporting precise localization.
Thermal tools, including spot, area, and center-point measurements, improve assessment speed. Night Scene, NIR illumination, and UHR infrared imaging ensure visibility in low or no light.
