The DJI SDK Encryption Chip (also known as SDK Certified Chip or SDK CC, part number CP.EN.00000554.02) is the official secure element used to authenticate payloads with DJI Enterprise platforms. Each chip stores a unique, DJI-signed certificate and private key, enabling encrypted communication between your payload and compatible DJI aircraft.
Designed for developers building on DJI's Payload SDK (PSDK) and Onboard SDK (OSDK) platforms, the SDK Encryption Chip allows your hardware to be recognized as a trusted, authorized device-seamlessly integrating with DJI's encrypted E-Port, E-Port Lite, or OSDK links.
The SDK Encryption Chip comes on 8 mm embossed tape for automated pick-and-place manufacturing and includes a humidity indicator card and desiccant to maintain moisture-sensitive level 3 (MSL-3) requirements. Installation requires standard QFN/QFP reflow practices, and once soldered, binding to your firmware is done via DJI's "djisdk-auth-tool" utility (PSDK ≥ v3.10).
With AES-128/256 and ECC-based challenge-response cryptography fully handled inside the chip, your payload firmware never sees the private key-ensuring secure and efficient authentication.
