The DJI Zenmuse XT V2 is a thermal imaging camera designed to meet the demands of a wide variety of industrial applications. It combines DJI's industry-leading gimbal technology and image transmission advances with FLIR's groundbreaking thermal imaging capabilities. User-friendly, accurate and reliable aerial thermal imagery is the result of the combination of some of the best features that these two powerhouse brands in the drone industry have to offer.
A Better Image
The Zenmuse XT 640 version, in comparison with other thermal imaging sensors, and even other variants of the XT, offers a higher digital video display, and faster frame rate, resulting in highly detailed, precise and lifelike thermal videos and still images. The XT 640 also offers in-flight, real-time camera views, and delivers highly accurate thermal measurements, over large areas.
Developed with input from professionals in firefighting, industrial, and other industries, the DJI XT Pro iOS app allows streamlined and easy-to-use control of imaging functions such as on-screen temperature estimates, and quick, in-flight access to color palette, isotherm, and other settings. This ensures that it is simple and straightforward to focus on your surveillance or data collecting mission in order to achieve your goals. The XT Pro app also offers several preset mission profiles, including fire scouting, electrical inspections, search and rescue, and solar, building and roof inspections, making it that much faster and easier to get off the ground and get the data you need.
Fully compatible
Being a DJI creation, the Zenmuse XT is fully compatible with DJI SDK, which means that the Zenmuse XT camera is naturally integrated with DJI's best features such as Intelligent Flight Modes, and long-range video transmission. The operator also has the ability to create customized flight controls and missions, including customized control over all camera subsystems, as well as the gimbal. The Zenmuse XT is fully compatible with the Matrice 100, Matrice 200 Series, Matrice 600, and Inspire 1. When paired with any of these drones, the XT offers the ability to provide high-resolution, detailed thermal imagery to meet the demands of any industrial application.
Applications
The need for reliable, visually precise thermal imaging is emerging in a multitude of industrial sectors. Firefighters need thermal imaging to promote safe operations, and increase speed and efficiency. Search and rescue operations rely on thermal data to locate individuals quickly and effectively. Home and building inspections make use of thermal imaging to detect insulation weak spots, water damage, and more. Utility and power companies rely on aerial thermal imaging capabilities to inspect and assess assets, whether solar panels, wind turbines, miles of power lines, or transformer stations. Thermal imaging is also widely used in precision agriculture, to monitor crop and soil health. The DJI Zenmuse XT V2 640 30Hz is more than able to meet the demands of all these applications and more.

Specific Models
Performance
The performance model of the Zenmuse XT was specifically engineered for emergency responders, including firefighters and search and rescue personnel, and provides the ability to quickly visualize temperature differences. The thermal imagery is displayed in real-time, and shows a temperature estimate at the center of the camera view, allowing operators to immediately locate large temperature differences.
Radiometric
The radiometric iteration of the Zenmuse XT was developed with inspectors of all kinds in mind, with the ability to capture detailed temperature data. This model allows the operator to tap any pixel on screen to get an instant, accurate temperature reading. The operator can also select an area on screen to see a display of average, highest, and lowest temperature within the selected area.
Image Enhancements and Optimization
FLIR's groundbreaking technology includes a specially designed suite of image enhancement options for the Zenmuse XT. These enhancements options ensure the highest quality and detail in your thermal images for the most accurate and reliable data. Optimization features include:
Digital Detail Enhancement™ (DDE) - improves image clarity and sharpness
Smart Scene Optimization™ (SSO) - enhances extremes in bimodal scenes
Active Contrast Enhancement™ (ACE) - uses contrast to show temperature differences in a scene
Information Based HEQ™ (IBHEQ) - compresses complex image data, creating the best quality image
SEAMLESS INTEGRATION AND COMPATIBILITY
