The Mavic Pro’s integrated 28mm camera is capable of capturing high-definition 12MP still images and recording Cinema 4K videos with a maximum resolution of 4096x2160 at 24fps, as well as UHD 4K up to 30fps, FHD 1080p up to 96fps, and HD 720p up to 120fps.

Long-Range Remote Control with OcuSync Transmission Technology
The Mavic Pro allows you to soar longer and farther with DJI’s new OcuSync Transmission Technology. Designed for improved performance at all transmission speeds, this newly developed technology permits smooth, uninterrupted, long-range transmission of up to 4.3 miles. It also uses efficient technologies for digital compression and channel transmission in order to reliably transmit high-definition videos even when presented with heavy radio interference. Thanks to its fully integrated system, the Mavic Pro ensures reduced latency of 5 milliseconds for commands from the remote controller, 10 milliseconds for video data, and 130 milliseconds for videos, which allows the drone to fly safely and efficiently despite interference.
The OcuSync also supports simultaneous wireless connection to multiple devices. This enables you to connect and coordinate added components such as an FPV accessory (DJI Goggles) or an additional remote controller, all at the same time.
Precise Hovering with Optical Flow Technology
The Mavic Pro has the ability to stabilize itself and hold its position when flying in various types of environments. With DJI’s Optical Flow technology, the quadcopter is able to see the ground below and sense its surrounding environment in three dimensions thanks to the information gathered and calculated by its ground-facing camera and sensors.

FlightAutonomy System with Diverse Intelligent Flight Options
Autonomous flight is made possible by the Mavic Pro’s FlightAutonomy system, which is composed of a highly sophisticated network of components that include five integrated cameras, two ultrasonic rangefinders, redundant sensors, GPS/GLONASS, and a powerful group of 24 computing cores. Using real-time information from these hardware and software components, the drone is able to operate in varying degrees of autonomy through a wide range of intelligent flight modes.
Intelligent flight modes allow the drone to autonomously perform certain tasks during flight. These modes help control the aircraft’s flight path, desired altitude, and general flight behavior, allowing it to track subjects, avoid obstacles, and more.
The Mavic Pro’s unique and advanced tracking mode operates without the need for GPS or transmitters. It is specifically designed to enable the drone to fly itself while tracking people, objects, vehicles, or animals from any chosen angle or perspective.
Trace - makes the drone follow the subject (in front or from behind) or circle it while it moves
Profile - makes the drone fly alongside your subject and captures profile shots of it while in motion
Spotlight - keeps the camera on your subject even as the drone flies in all sorts of directions
Taking hands-free selfies and group shots with your drone is now possible thanks to the Mavic Pro’s Gesture mode. After activating this mode, you simply need to walk in front of the camera to allow the drone to detect you. It will then recognize your gestures as commands.
Raise your arms or wave at it to make it follow you and place you in the center of the frame, then make a frame with your fingers to instruct the drone to take the shot.
Tripod mode is designed specifically to make it easier to control your drone when flying indoors or in tight spaces. It does this by reducing the sensitivity of your remote controller’s joysticks, which grants you maximum precision, and by capping the maximum flight speed at 2.2 miles per hour.
In Terrain Follow mode, the drone uses real-time information from its built-in ultrasonic system and downward-facing cameras to monitor the terrain below. This allows the aircraft to maintain the same distance between itself and the ground throughout its flight. Simply set your desired height (anything between 9 feet to 33 feet) between the drone and the ground, and the drone will adjust itself accordingly to correspond with the changing terrain.
Sport mode was specifically designed for those who want more speed. In this mode, the Mavic Pro is able to fly at its maximum speed of 40 miles per hour, with increased agility and responsiveness for complete control during flight. To ensure maximum flight safety, the aircraft will immediately stop once you let go of the controls.
Safe, Worry-Free Flight
DJI drones rely on each component of its flight control system to gather critical information during flight. Of these components, the inertial measurement unit (IMU) and compass are the most important, as they help monitor or control the speed, acceleration, angle, and direction of the drone. Without these sensors, the drone may experience problems with flight performance or lose its ability to navigate.
To safeguard against such issues, DJI built the Mavic Pro to have two sets of these crucial sensors. In the event that one sensor malfunctions, the backup sensor will automatically take its place.
