Night Drone Missions
The DJI Mavic 3T shares the same high-performance tele camera as the Mavic 3E—a 48 MP camera with a 1/2" CMOS sensor—complemented by a sophisticated infrared imaging setup. The thermal camera, an uncooled VOx Microbolometer, has a 12 µm pixel pitch and operates at a frame rate of 30 Hz. The lens provides a diagonal field of view of 61° with a focal length equivalent of 40 mm and an aperture of f/1.0, focusing from 5 meters to infinity. This setup allows for detailed thermal imaging, capturing subtle temperature differences as low as 50 mK (millikelvin) at F1.0, making it adept at identifying heat signatures in complex environments.
