Jitter-Free Video Transmission with Minimal Latency

Video transmission on the CrystalSky monitor is optimized to ensure smooth, jitter-free video monitoring in real-time. It makes use of an enhanced video decoder that effectively eliminates some of the common issues experienced with video decoding in mobile devices, such as video jitter and long latency.

Powerful, Custom-Designed Operating System

The CrystalSky monitor utilizes a powerful, highly customized Android operating system that is specifically designed for maximum functionality and efficiency. It excludes a wide range of unnecessary apps and services to improve speed and performance and has the ability to protect itself against viruses and malware that can result in performance issues or compromised data.

DJI’s custom Android OS also has the DJI GO app embedded into it, which means that users can have complete access to various controls and features.

Multiple Ports and Connectivity Options

There are several I/O and connectivity options on the CrystalSky High-Brightness monitor. It has dual-band WiFi and 4G dongle compatibility, which allows users to connect to any WiFi source or use a mobile broadband device. It also features a variety of onboard ports, including 4K HDMI, USB-A, USB-C, micro USB, and even a 3.5mm headphone output.

These ports allow users to utilize USB storage, connect the monitor to other types of devices, and output 4K video to a computer screen or even FPV goggles.

Dual MicroSD Card Slots for Increased Storage

Recording high-resolution imagery requires abundant storage space. Due to this, the CrystalSky monitor has two built-in microSD card slots that can be used for additional storage, data backup, and video playback at 30fps for H.264 and 60fps for H.265.

Stored footage on any microSD card can also be viewed, edited, and shared directly on the CrystalSky monitor.

Extended Battery Life

A secondary external battery dramatically extends the CrystalSky’s maximum operating time to an impressive 5 to 6 hours. To further ensure optimum battery performance, the battery is also designed to function effectively and control its discharge rate even in extreme temperatures as low as -4°F (-20°C) or as high as 104°F (40°C).

Quick charge is also supported when used with compatible but separately available DJI battery chargers.

Highly Compatible with Selected DJI Flight Systems

The CrystalSky High-Brightness monitor can be used with the Mavic Pro, as well as aerial systems from the Phantom 3, Phantom 4, Matrice, and Inspire lines. It is also compatible with DJI’s Osmo cameras.
While the DJI Cendence remote controller (which can be used with certain models from the Inspire and Matrice series) has an integrated mounting bracket for the CrystalSky monitor, other remote controllers will need a separately available bracket specifically meant for the CrystalSky.
