The DSLRPros Autel EVO II Pro Pix4D Mapping Package pairs one of the most advanced and powerful aerial platforms with industry leading photogrammetry software for professional drone mapping. Combining the Autel EVO II Pro with Pix4Dmapper software gives you all the tools necessary to create high-quality, survey grade 3D mapping, in a small and portable case. This package is essential for professionals working in construction, agriculture, or surveying.
The Autel EVO II Pro 6K platform provides users with a highly advanced drone system featuring amazing flight times, incredible speed, agile maneuverability, and 12 sensor obstacle avoidance for 360º protection. The EVO II Pro’s camera boasts a large 1” sensor which captures stunning 20MP photos and 6k video, while featuring a variable aperture from f/2.8 to f/11 and ISO up to 12,800. Incredibly, all of these big features are packed into a lightweight, foldable drone.
Pix4Dmapper uses cloud-based processing to create real time previews of maps with quality indicators. Easily create highly detailed color point clouds, 3D textured mesh, orthomosaic maps and contour lines.
Creating highly detailed aerial maps can take time. Longer flight times ensure that you can map larger areas efficiently and without needing to recharge. With four 7100mAh rechargeable batteries providing up to 40 minutes of flight time each, the DSLRPros Autel EVO II Pro Pix4D Mapping Bundle gives you over 2 ½ hours of flight with minimum downtime. Flying longer also means flying farther, for mapping even the largest areas. The EVO II Pro has an enhanced digital transmission system that allows for live image transmission up to 5.5 miles away. Stronger image transmission also means a stronger signal, keeping you connected in urban environments and thick forests.
Providing 360º obstacle avoidance protection, 12 vision sensors work in concert with a dual core processor and AI to detect obstacles from over 95 feet away. Once obstacles are detected, the Autel EVO II automatically corrects its speed and direction to avoid them and protect your investment. This feature is especially useful when mapping in urban or forested environments. As an additional level of safety, the DSLRPros Autel EVO II Pro Pix4D Mapping Bundle comes with a set of light and sturdy propeller guards.
Pairing this package with a license for Pix4Dmapper software enables you to have a complete professional grade mapping and surveying system. Using the Pix4Dcapture app, you can automate your flight for maximum efficiency. Distances, volumes, and areas are easily measured and noted with this powerful software.
Once your survey flight is completed, the software can export an incredible variety of file types including orthomosaic maps, 2-D models, contour maps, 3-D models and more.
The Color Point Cloud uses RGB data for colorization.
The point cloud classifies images in 5 predefined groups: ground, road surface, high vegetation, building, and man made object. The results of this classification are color coded for easy distinction.
To better understand the shape of land surfaces, the Pix4D software creates lines of equal elevation.
The shape of the model is represented with vertices, edges, and texture.

In the comparison above, you can see that Pix4Dmapper stitches the images together much more accurately, giving much straighter edges and lines. Pix4Dreact has some rough edges, but for most first-responder situations is accurate enough for quick action. While mapper's map has incredible detail, it took 5 hours and 52 minutes to process the map and be able to export or interact with the map. In a tight (or simply time-sensitive) situation, the Pix4Dreact map is adequate for action and took a mere 16 minutes to process the data.
These two Pix4D software solutions are perfect companions. Get actionable 2-D maps on-site with Pix4Dreact for quick decision making and use the exact same dataset in Pix4Dmapper for more accurate and detailed information for more precise measurements and decision making.
